About the Painting
Scarlet Footfall sets a red-haired boy on a remarkably tall black horse against a quiet sage-green field. A red saddlecloth, shoe and four red hooves make a small sequence of bright accents, while fine swirling strokes animate the dark coat. The upright rider and long, slender legs give this portrait composition a playful, composed character. This figurative oil painting suits a study, dining space or entrance with deep wood and muted green textiles. Hand-painted to order in oils on canvas, it is offered in the sizes and framing options shown; individual brushwork and texture vary naturally.
Hand-Painted Quality & Process
Each work is painted by hand in oil on canvas. The artist builds color, brushwork, and surface texture by eye, so small variations are part of the handmade finish. Your finished painting may differ slightly from screen colors and product photography.
