About the Painting
Scarlet Companion pairs a woman in a forest-green Western dress with a chestnut horse, set against a deep burgundy sky. Her broad ivory hat and the horse's pale blaze bring light to the earthy composition, while raised oil-painted strokes add a tactile surface.
The horizontal arrangement balances the two figures with quiet olive hills and a weathered cream wall. Its rich green, russet and ivory tones suit a dining room, study, entrance hall or music room. Choose your preferred size and frame from the options shown.
Hand-Painted Quality & Process
Each work is painted by hand in oil on canvas. The artist builds color, brushwork, and surface texture by eye, so small variations are part of the handmade finish. Your finished painting may differ slightly from screen colors and product photography.
Shipping & Duties
Rolled in a sturdy tube and sent with tracking to Europe and the US. We pay the import duties, so there is nothing more to pay when it arrives.
Certificate of Authenticity
