About the Painting
Claret Composure places a cowgirl with folded arms against a deeply worked burgundy ground. Cream and muted rose stripes run through the blouse, interrupted by three oval ornaments down the chest. A broad olive hat and straight black hair frame an intentionally featureless face, giving the close portrait a calm, graphic presence. This Western-inspired oil painting pairs with warm timber, dark upholstery and soft neutral walls in a study, dining room or entrance. Hand-painted to order in oils on canvas, it is offered in the sizes and framing options shown; individual brushwork and texture vary naturally.
Hand-Painted Quality & Process
Each work is painted by hand in oil on canvas. The artist builds color, brushwork, and surface texture by eye, so small variations are part of the handmade finish. Your finished painting may differ slightly from screen colors and product photography.
